Safestyle Achieves Part 3 Pass with BSI using Super Spacer

Retail giant Safestyle is pleased to announce that it has achieved a Part 3 Pass with BSI using Edgetech’s Super Spacer warm edge technology. Mark Scaife, Operations Director of Safestyle explains: “Safestyle’s Eco-Diamond suite of ‘A’ rated products incorporates the Super Spacer product for better thermal performance, but of course any sealed units with gas fill have to comply with EN1279 Part 3 for gas retention. We not only passed this standard, we achieved a good pass with BSI.
“Safestyle started using Super Spacer at the beginning of this year because as far as we are concerned it is ‘the’ quality warm edge technology on the market, but Edgetech also offer support in other areas. For example we received great technical support in preparation for the EN1279 tests, which made the whole process run a lot more smoothly. We sold over &pound100 million of replacement windows and doors last year alone so we need to be sure we can rely on our suppliers to give us the quality products we need as well as the support to back them up.”
