Edgetech UK, a Quanex company hosted its annual golf day at Staverton Park, Daventry as part of its 25 year anniversary celebrations.
Over 100 guests from the industry joined Edgetech for a round of golf followed by dinner and trophy presentations. Each golfer was also given a silver jubilee golf bag tag.
During the dinner, Edgetech ran a charity raffle raising over £5,200 for Myton Hospice. More than 25 businesses generously donated prizes including golf equipment, holiday vouchers, an iPad Mini and Rugby tickets. The Myton Hospice provides high quality, specialist care to terminally ill people and ensures families are supported both through and after this difficult time. They help almost 4,000 people each year in Coventry & Warwickshire through their work in hospices with patients and family support services and in the community.
Managing director, Andy Jones says: “We’ve been hosting the golf day for four years now and it’s a great opportunity for us to say thank you to customers and raise some money for charity. This year marks our 25th anniversary, so thanks to everyone who came to the day and donated prizes for the charity raffle.
Paul Evans from Senior Architectural Systems says: “It’s been an absolutely fantastic day. Beautiful weather, great friends and people you don’t see all year. Thank you to Edgetech for asking me.”
Mick Madigan from Quickslide added: “Quickslide would like to say thank you to Andy Jones and Edgetech for yet another fantastic day of golf. The weather was great and we’re looking forward to next year already.”
